Modular Full Convection Oven

Modular full convection oven for high volume soldering and curing. Number and type of zones is free according to requirements. System features 600 mm wide process tunnel with programmable conveyor (chain over mesh).

Hot air convection oven with variable number of zones

The RO-VARIO exclusively heats with hot air convection and can be used for the different tasks in SMT assembly, especially for the reflow soldering of lead free solder pastes or the curing of adhesives. The number and type of heating zones as well as the type of transport system is freely selectable. Therefore, the oven is configurable exactly according to the requirements.

Depending on the requirements, the RO-VARIO can be equipped with chain (a) or mesh belt (e) conveyor. „Chain over mesh“ is also possible. For parallel processing of multiple products it is possible to operate with even more than two chains (c) and supports (d).

With the sophisticated control software new soldering tasks can be simulated and it offers unlimited storage space for programs. Measured temperature profiles can be superimposed graphically.

Highly flexible

The flexible oven concept enables the layout of the machine exactly according to the requirements. The number of zones as well as the zone type can be defined by the customer.

Easy operation

The RO-VARIO is fully PC controlled. The sophisticated software offers unlimited storage space for soldering and curing programs. Temperature curves can be simulated and optimized.

Process gas cleaning

The integrated filter system provides clean process gases.

Faster cooling

Cooling zones are available as air circulation systems or with additional chillers for higher cooling rates.

With or without Nitrogen

An RO-VARIO prepared for nitrogen can be operated with or without protection atmosphere. The changeover takes only several minutes.

Automatic width setup

Chain conveyors are automatically set to the correct with for the product.

Easy to maintain

The oven features a motorized opening and is easy to maintain. If necessary, convection modules can be exchanged with a few hand movements.

Easy integration

SMEMA connectors provide the ability to link the oven with any other compatible equipment.

More reliable

The RO-VARIO runs with much less motors than other products. Therefore, the failure probability is much less and the lifespan is much longer.
